Privacy Policy

KoalatyStatistics ("KoalatyStats", "we", "us") is a fantasy football analytics website at koalatystatistics.com. Our approach to your data is simple: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and you can delete all of it yourself at any time.
What we collect
- Your email address — if you create an account. We use it to sign you in (via a one-time email link or your Google account) and for nothing else. We do not ask for your name, birthday, or any profile information.
- Preferences you choose to save — such as saved table views in the KoalatyStats Explorer or a Sleeper username you ask us to remember. These exist only so the site can restore your setup, and only you can see them.
- Bug and feature reports — if you use the feedback widget, we receive what you type, an optional reply-to email, an optional screenshot, and basic context about the page and browser you were on. We use this only to investigate the report.
- Aggregate usage analytics — we use Vercel Analytics, a cookie-free, aggregate analytics tool. It tells us things like which pages are popular; it does not build profiles of individual visitors.
- Standard server logs — like virtually every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request paths) for security and debugging.
What we deliberately do not do
- No passwords exist on this site, so none can be leaked.
- We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. There are no ads.
- We do not use tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are the essential ones that keep you signed in.
- We do not collect payment information. If paid memberships launch in the future, payments will be handled by a dedicated payment processor (such as Stripe), and your card details will never touch our servers. This policy will be updated before that happens.
The Sleeper username, explained
If you save a Sleeper username, we store that single piece of text so the Predictive Trade Calculator can auto-load your leagues. We use it to query Sleeper's public API the same way you could in a browser. We do not store your league data, rosters, or anything else from Sleeper.
Services we rely on
A small number of infrastructure providers process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting and aggregate analytics), Resend (delivers our sign-in and feedback emails), and Google (only if you choose "Sign in with Google"; Google tells us your verified email address). Our newsletter lives on Substack, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy.
How long we keep things, and deleting your data
Account data is kept until you delete your account. You can do that yourself at any time from your account page— deletion is immediate and removes your email, preferences, and saved views permanently. There is no "we keep a copy for our records." Bug report emails are kept only as long as needed to address the report.
Your rights
Everything we hold about you is visible on your account page, and the delete button removes it. If you have any privacy question or request you cannot handle self-serve, email us at koalatybugs@gmail.com and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Children
KoalatyStats is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, when paid memberships launch — we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
